We've Been In Your Shoes
Designed by a former Constable and a former Inspector who are both Personal Trainers with over 11 years experience. We've done the fitness testing, Amanda was a 1.5 mile run female record holder at the Ontario Police College when she attended, and won the Claire Shaw Award of Excellence for Fitness. We will train you how we train! We understand what the demands of the job are. We know exactly how to prepare you for long term success in your chosen Police or Fire career.
"I just completed my 12 weeks of training with Amanda! I couldn’t be more happy with her training/services.
When I first started my 12 weeks I had just applied to a Police Service. I quickly got a call for an interview and Amanda was a huge help in preparing me for this, which is why I believe I was very successful in the interview. I have now successfully completed all my recruitment stages and just waiting for the call.
I can confidently say that after these 12 weeks I am pretty close to being the fittest I have been since my last varsity seasons. Her strength program paired with the finishers has helped me become stronger but also help me improve my endurance.
When I started with Amanda I was achieving about an 70% on my pin now I’m achieving 95% scoring almost perfect on everything still working on improving my 1.5 mile and sit and reach.

"As a professional emergency responder, you have to have accountability for yourself and your fitness. Not only do you need to be fit for duty to serve the public to the best of your ability, but you have to be able to back your crew up if things go wrong or to be able to contribute to the crew.

Do I need to travel?
No, well only to the training area of your choice! All programming is delivered online for your convenience.
Do I need access to a gym?
We do recommend you have access to a gym or have a wide range of equipment at home. Workouts are designed for what you have available!
Will this help with my application for Fire or Police?
We are a former Constable owned and operated business and want to be transparent in this point. We can provide you with a referral upon completion highlighting that you undertook our coaching and that you are at a high fitness level (which you will be by the end of 12 weeks!) We make this referral personal for you and highlight your strengths and recommendations. If you have a medical issue we can explain that you undertook the training with no aggravation to your injury- if that is the case.
What if I am not fit at all?
That's ok! Your program is customized for your fitness level and previous exercise experience. It's better not to waste time though, so it's imperative to bring your fitness level up to the minimum requirements ASAP.
